IAM Account

An Account is the fundamental digital identity and record within the IAM system for a distinct entity that interacts with the platform. It serves as the primary container for authentication credentials, authorization attributes, and descriptive metadata.

An account uniquely binds an entity (e.g., a human user, a software service, a system component) to a persistent profile that governs its access and capabilities.
