Task: Consolidate the WSL offload story arc into sprint 25

This page documents a task in the Remote WSL offload and compute nodes story. It captures the goal, current status, acceptance, and any notes or results.
Goal
Move the WSL remote-host arc's product-backlog tasks into their correct sprint homes, so no arc work lives outside the current sprint:
- Nine tasks move via
compass task move: the compass remote-deploy tooling task (compass env deploy, PR #1937) fromproduct_backlog/next/offload-services-to-wsl-host-cutover/and the eight split-services tasks (container pilot, IAM healthcheck, orchestration spec, quadlet generator, controller decommission, re-scope, rollout, podman-events watcher) fromproduct_backlog/inbox/split-services-into-per-service-containers/. - Seven of the split-services tasks (their work completed in sprint 24, 2026-07-29..08-02) are then routed into the sprint-24 story as history. This story keeps the tooling task, the podman-events watcher, and the new remote compute-node join task.
- The emptied backlog stories are closed as superseded; the sprint-24 story gains a provenance note.
- The story is wired into sprint 25 (
sprint.org, under Product).
